Information
The work is inspired by people queuing. Each instrumentalist is paired with a dancer, soloing together, representing one person in a queue. As the piece progresses frustration and impatience builds; and gradually the three individuals begin to lose their personality, they become one frenzied mass. Order turns to chaos, emotions spiralling out of control. Yet before long the fire is extinguished and they return to the queue, and to themselves.
